Daily Brief

Not a dashboard. A standup — from the AI, about the AI. What worked yesterday, what your team had to rewrite, and the thing it keeps getting wrong.

What it is

Each morning the AI writes a short, first-person report on the prior day: a verdict, what genuinely worked, and — the useful part — where your team edited its drafts and it fell short. It never sugar-coats, and every line is tied to the day’s real numbers. It cannot invent a figure.

The deep part is the pattern. The brief re-reads the AI’s own past briefs and names what recurs — a topic it keeps flagging, a fix it proposed that never shipped, whether its clean-rate is trending up or down. It’s the building block of an AI that improves itself: it can see its own history, so it can hold itself accountable to it.

How you’d use it

Founder

You read it with your coffee. Ninety seconds tells you whether yesterday’s support was healthy and where your AI still needs you — without opening a single dashboard.

Support lead

“The team edited 4 of my payment drafts again” — the brief surfaces exactly where the AI is being overruled, so you know which article or pinned answer to fix next.

Busy owner

Turn on the email option and the whole report lands in your inbox each morning. You never have to remember to check.

Skeptic

Anything the brief proposes — promote a topic, go quiet, publish an article — still goes through your approval. It reflects and recommends; it never acts on its own.

Get more out of it

  1. Give it a few days before you judge the meta

The first brief has no history to reflect on — it says so. The pattern-spotting gets sharp once it has a week of its own reports to read back.

  2. Read the “what didn’t work” first

The honest section is the valuable one. Where your team keeps rewriting the AI is a map of the exact articles and pinned answers to fix.

  3. Keep the email on if you don’t live in the app

It’s once a day, and it’s the same beautiful report. A daily nudge to stay close to your AI without opening it.

  4. Act on the recurring pattern

When the brief names the same weak topic three mornings running, that’s the one to fix — the compounding wins hide in the recurrences, not the one-offs.

Let your AI hold itself accountable.
